For People Who Want to Help

When and where can I drop off food donations?

What are the most needed food items?

These lists are updated regularly with most-needed items.

Can I make a financial contribution instead?

Yes. Monetary donations go a long way because financial gifts allow the Cupboard to purchase essential fresh perishables like milk, eggs, and meat that standard food drives do not always cover. Secure donations can be made online through the website.

Does my employer offer matching gifts?

Many local companies—such as Cisco, IBM, Lenovo, Duke Energy, and Blue Cross NC—offer corporate matching gift programs that can double or even triple a donation. Donors can check with their employer’s HR or benefits portal to see if their contribution is eligible.

How else can community members get involved?

Supporters can host a neighborhood food drive, sign up as a monthly food donor through programs like PORCH Holly Springs, volunteer their time in the garden, and more. Learn more.
